Co-founded by siblings, Fannye Pierre and Charlie Moore, The Dawn was home to top artists, entertainers and entrepreneurs of the time.
From Dusk to Dawn: The Fannye Pierre Project is a digital archive and visual storytelling initiative that recounts the history of The Dawn Bar & Casino, the iconic 1940s Harlem-based bar, casino and hotel.
